A new era in Gynecology has now arrived in Albania and is available for all the medical professionals.
Greemed actively participated in the “Basic Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy Course” workshop, organized by the Regional Hospital of Lezha, featuring the involvement of esteemed Italian doctors such as Prof. Alfonso Rossetti and Prof. Alessandro Loddo, and Albanian medical professionals. When considering advancements in medical innovation, Erbe stands out prominently. Not only does Erbe boast a century-long legacy in the healthcare sector, but it also aligns with the stringent production quality standards characteristic of German brands.
In this workshop, Greemed played a key role by showcasing Erbe technology, particularly during two live interventions – Hysteroscopy and Myomectomy. Both procedures were conducted laparoscopically, emphasizing minimally invasive techniques to reduce potential complications associated with traditional open surgeries.
Greemed presented the Erbe system to well-known Gynecology professionals from Albania and Kosovo, allowing participants to witness firsthand the innovation, safety, ease of use, and positive impact on daily medical practices. The utilization of Vio 3 equipment and instruments such as BiClam Lap and Bisect Micro during these interventions not only facilitated smoother procedures but also reduced the need for post-operative analgesia, leading to earlier patient discharge and improved convalescence.
Erbe equipment emerges as a compelling alternative to traditional hysterectomy methods, demonstrating advantages such as lower blood loss during surgery, reduced postoperative pain, and economic benefits for both patients and hospitals. Following live surgical demonstrations, considerable interest was expressed by doctors at the Greemed stand, where the comprehensive benefits of the Erbe system across various disciplines, including gynecology, gastroenterology, urology, and general surgery, were closely explained.
